Brown Fedora Books authors Louella Bryant, Geof Hewitt and Jim DeFilippi were the presenters, along with former Maine poet laureate Baron Wormser, at the seventh annual Rail City Writing Workshop, hosted by Don Tinney from June 15 to June 18. This one-of-a-kind workshop has become the touchstone of this type event in the Northeast.
Aging BFB author Geof Hewitt will take on the kid challengers in the Fourth Annual Montpelier VT First Night Poetry Slam, in the basement of the Bethany Church, at 6:45 p.m., December 31.
